JUNE STREET AWARD 2009

On Thursday 18th March 2010 at the Community Action Dacorum Community Lunch, 85 year old Stan Gray was presented with the June Street Award for his outstanding services to the community in Kings Langley as a Volunteer. Stan was nominated by Theresa Manfield Manager of the Waterside Centre, who said that Stan has been attending the day centre for the last 20 years since his retirement without fail, to support their clients with learning difficulties. The award was presented by June Street OBE with the help of Cllr Stephen Holmes Mayor of Dacorum, Mike Penning MP and Gerry Angiolini Kings Langley Parish Councillor who spoke of the many other organisations Stan has supported in the village.
