Halloween Party - 31st October

Thousands of thrillseekers descended on Hemel Hempstead old town for a Hallowe'en street party. The High Street was packed with families on Saturday's fright night (October 31) where music, performances and plenty of sweets were on offer.

More than 150 children entered the fancy dress competitions before a firework display closed the event.

The event, organised by Dacorum Borough Council and Community Action Dacorum, also featured dance performances and still-life statues.

Fun-loving pubs lining the street kept the party going after hour.
